Gifts… hurray gifts!
Ok, some crazy woman wrote the registry page impersonating my voice! Hi, this is Nadine--really, not some cheap imitation (as none of Lara and Jay's wedding gifts should be). No, Lara gets props for her ventriloquism, a worthy performance, but as she stated this is pretty much the only MOH duties I can do from Austin, so I wanted to actually do it. As Lara previously wrote, under the guise of moi, she and Jay have set up registries at Crate and Barrel (house and table top thingies, decorative and useful), Macy's (getting things cooking, i.e. kitchen and bedroom goodies), Home Depot (mmm, power tools, need I say more?), and REI (word on the street is that it's a tent). As you can probably tell, you can link to those places from this page... well, the ones in orange anyway. Once at the site, finding the registry online should be easy enough.
Not included in any of these registries are their gorgeous dishes, but they are easy to find/purchase too, for the most part. They found an Italian ceramic pattern they love, (and after seeing it, I love it too) but only one store that carries it in the US. It just so happens that one store is in their neighbor hood (kinda), quite the ka-winky-dink. Go here to see the pattern. They're registered for a mix-match set made up of pretty much all the designs on that page. To order, call the store, La Raccolta, at 415-384-0330. The store has a list of what they want, and you can pick something from that. Or you can shirk all responsibility for choosing (or maybe I'm the only freak who gets stressed and overwhelmed by choosing other people's china pieces) and just credit their account, then they can pick it out when they go pick up their gifts.
